About me

I'm Xander Groesbeek—fifteen-plus years shipping products, leading teams, and driving change across consulting, corporate (NASDAQ-listed) and startup environments. Along the way I grew my own startup from first hire to 15 FTE, which permanently shaped how I think about pace, ownership and trade-offs.
I operate independently with minimal overhead. Give me a problem, access to stakeholders, and I'll deliver a roadmap, a working prototype, or a scaled solution—whatever the situation requires. I'm equally comfortable in a board meeting discussing strategy or in a technical design session reviewing architecture.
Meekijken wordt vaak meedoen. I tend to step in to look and think along, and end up doing the work. Nobody's ever asked me to stop.
What I bring
Hands-on and pragmatic. I ship—roadmaps, working prototypes, scaled solutions. I'd rather build a thing than write another deck about it.
Structure that creates focus. I see what's needed quickly and bring the overview that makes the next move obvious. The bottleneck in most organizations isn't ideas—it's deciding which idea ships first.
Technically fluent. I read code, challenge architecture, and talk to engineers in their language. No translation layer needed between me and your developers.
Stakeholder-savvy across cultures. Delivered in Singapore, San Francisco, Saudi Arabia and multiple European markets. I know how to get the right people on board—and that the bottom line ultimately decides what gets attention.
On digital sovereignty
I practice what I preach. My own startups run on 100% EU infrastructure—no US cloud providers, no third-party analytics that phone home. When I advise on data sovereignty, it comes from hands-on implementation experience, not theory.
